I was in the middle of a search for a rental apartment. After Joe showed us a couple of apartments, we decided we wanted to buy instead. He rolled with it completely, no questions asked. He helped us find listings that fit our "mush-have" list, and when we asked him to set up viewings, he was able to organize all showings for the same day! And so quickly! He helped us move fast, was able to give us guidance on how to make an attractive offer, and provided us with every reference we needed (e.g. lender, attorney), all of whom were amazing to work with. He answered phone calls late at night when I was panicking about various aspects of the sale (will the wire transfer go through? did I set up my loan correctly?) with professionalism and friendly courtesy. I was in great hands. I highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a Chicago realtor.

There truly are not enough amazing things to say about Joe. Buying our first home was such a breeze with him. We have been looking for a home for about 2.5 years and we were not easy clients. We were picky, we knew what we liked/didn't like, and were firm on our budget. Joe was so patient and kind with us. He got us in to see any house we wanted, even late night showings, same day showings and always made accommodations to make us feel important. Need a caring, compassionate, and hard working real estate agent who can sell a home in 17 (!!!) days at the price you want? Then Joe Gerber is the one for you! My family was thrown into a really tough and emotional situation when a relative suffered a medical emergency and had to be suddenly moved into a nursing home. They had lived in the same home for over 30+ years, and many memories were attached to it. Due to their situation, the home had to be sold immediately to take care of the costs of 24/7 nursing care. My family needed an agent who would respond quickly and could be reliable as our focus was working with the doctors (the relative never fully recovered). I reached out to Joe, and knew right away he would be the one to sell the house. Joe was prompt, and efficient, and he calmed our worries about being unable to sell a home due to the current situation with the pandemic. We also didn't have the time or resources to do cosmetic updates to the property, and had our hands were tied at the hospital. There was a lot of pressure riding on the sale of this house. Joe did his research and hit the ground running to sell the house. He and his team took the most beautiful real estate photos we've ever seen, and were extremely good at marketing the property. Joe didn't just bring any potential buyers, he brought *serious* buyers, and we received an offer very quickly. Although the offer was originally too low, Joe used his extraordinary negotiating skills to bring the offer to the price we were hoping for. We ended up agreeing on a price that was a little above other similar homes that recently sold in that neighborhood. Talk about a great sale!! My family will always be thankful for Joe's diligent work. Joe makes you feel like you're working with someone who truly cares about your best interests. Most importantly, Joe and his team are by far the most professional real estate agents we've ever encountered. From here on out, we will be referring everyone we know to Joe Gerber, and when the time comes to sell our own home of 25+ years, he'll be the one we will call.
